Job summary

Streets of New York, Inc in Phoenix, AZ is seeking friendly Servers to be the face of our restaurant and deliver a memorable dining experience. This full-time/part-time role requires multitasking, teamwork and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

You will greet guests, take orders, explain menu items and promotions, and ensure timely service. We offer a $12.15 hourly wage plus tips, discounts, health benefits for full-time staff, and holiday closures.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience in a fast-paced restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States, will be submitted through E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
• Assist guests with orders based on tastes, preferences, diets or allergies.
• Apply current promotions, specials, and offers per policies.
• Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
• Monitor dining experience and check in for satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Keep tables clean and organized, clear dishes promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Light lifting for stocking and cleaning of the dining area.
• Participate in team training and meetings.
