Job summary

Streets of New York in Fountain Hills, AZ is seeking friendly Servers to welcome guests and provide a memorable dining experience. You will multitask, learn menu items, and apply promotions while delivering timely service in a fast-paced casual Italian setting.

Ideal candidates are hardworking, team players with strong customer service skills and a willingness to obtain a Food Handler’s Certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
• A positive attitude and a passion for the food and beverage industry.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States, we use E-Verify

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
• Be knowledgeable on all menu items and be able to help guests with placing orders based on their tastes, preferences, diets or allergies.
• Be knowledgeable on all current promotions, specials and offers, and be able to apply them in accordance to our policies.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to the tables.
• Monitor guest dining experience, checking in periodically to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle payments, including cash and credit transactions, accurately and efficiently.
• Keep tables clean and organized, promptly clearing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
• Light lifting to stock products or cleaning and maintenance of the dining room.
• Participate in team training, meetings, and events to enhance knowledge and skills.
