Job summary

Huddle House in Magee, MS is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver first-class customer service and food service. You will receive orders, convey them to the kitchen, ensure timely delivery, and keep your section clean.

The role emphasizes smiles, teamwork with franchise partners, and adherence to safety and cash handling policies. Previous restaurant experience is preferred; a positive attitude and reliable schedule are essential.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in a clean, complete, proper uniform with a positive attitude ready to work.
• Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting: “Good Morning or Welcome to Huddle House.”
• Review menu with customers when needed, suggestively sell products and take order from each customer at the table.
• Submit ticket to the cook’s station and deliver food in a timely manner to the customer when food is cooked.
• Handle money from customers; ring up tickets using the POS system and make proper change.
• Account for all tickets, credit card receipts, and ensure tickets are closed before shift ends.
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Keep the store clean at all times (bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms).
• Report any safety concerns or customer service issues to the manager immediately.
• Know the menu and daily features to upsell items.
• Follow Huddle House steps of service with every guest to maximize sales.
• Adhere to safety, food handling, and cash security policies.
• Perform all prepping and cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Contribute to controlling food costs by minimizing waste and proper portioning.
• Perform duties with a sense of urgency.
