Job summary

Perkins is hiring a Host/Cashier to welcome guests, take orders, and handle transactions with accuracy. You will create a warm first impression and support a smooth dining flow in a fast-paced setting.

No experience is required; training provided. You should enjoy teamwork, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and move for long shifts, and help with carryout orders as needed. Compensation ranges from $10.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage seating arrangements and wait lists to ensure smooth restaurant flow.
• Accurately process guest payments and handle cash, credit card and other transactions.
• Answer phones, assist guests with questions, and support carryout or to-go orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, front entrance, and dining areas.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to support efficient operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
