Qualifications

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to warmly welcome our guests.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Open the front door for guests when possible.
• Record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times.
• Call out name and party number when tables become available.
• Seat guests based on preferences and balance guest flow.
• Offer menus and introduce servers upon seating.
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed.
• Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return.
• Maintain a clean and organized hostess station.
• Ensure the entrance area is clean and clear.
• Assist with restroom checks for cleanliness and supplies.
• Utilize POS system and Hot Schedules for scheduling and communication.
• Read management messages in Hot Schedules before each shift.
