Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use his or her name whenever possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt; group items for easy bagging.
• Check bottom of carts and under baby seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow bagging procedures and handle cash transactions per standard practice.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Maintain neat work station and front end area.
• Report any register malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Adhere to all company guidelines and safety practices.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
