Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, process payments, bag groceries, and keep the checkout area organized while staying friendly and efficient.

You’ll rotate between tasks like handling transactions, restocking supplies, collecting carts, and maintaining the front-end area in a fast-paced environment. This role suits someone who enjoys variety and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on local/state requirements
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and ensure accurate purchases
• Process payments including cash, card, and digital payments
• Keep the front-end area organized and clean, restock as needed
• Support with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking and general front-end upkeep
• Handle changing tasks and accommodate varying customer flow throughout shifts
