Job summary

GATE Petroleum is seeking a Food Service Associate Non-Exempt to deliver friendly, efficient service in our store. You will assist customers, prepare food items, operate the register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked space.

You will work with the Store Kitchen Manager and Store Manager, follow safety and sanitation standards, and train teammates on food preparation and customer service.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English to communicate with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with products and questions about menu/items.
• Prepare made-to-order food items following standard recipes.
• Operate register and handle cash/credit payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock coolers and shelves.
• Train new team members on food prep and safety procedures.
• Follow food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform minor repairs and equipment maintenance.
