Job summary

Gate Petroleum Company’s GATE Store is seeking a Food Service Associate Non-Exempt to deliver a friendly, efficient customer experience while assisting with food preparation, stocking and product information.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, operating the register, and supporting kitchen safety and teammate training; flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend English and follow safety instructions.
• Must complete pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product information and questions about menu items.
• Prepare and assist with food items as directed by Store Kitchen Manager and Store Manager.
• Stock coolers and shelves; maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Operate register and process cash/credit payments; provide friendly checkout experience.
• Train new and existing team members on food preparation, customer service, and safety procedures.
