Independence Village New Hudson is seeking a part-time dishwasher for the 10am–4pm shift. No formal experience required, but prior restaurant dishwashing helps. You will follow proper cleaning procedures and maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen.

You will stock supplies, work with the culinary team, and interact with residents and families, contributing to a positive experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to safety in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Must be friendly display a positive attitude and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items.
• Comply with all applicable state and local healthsafety codes.
• Stock soap towels and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
