Job summary

Village Crossing at Worman's Mill is seeking a part‑time Dishwasher to support the Culinary Services team in maintaining clean and safe kitchen and dining areas for residents. The role may involve light food prep and dining room support as needed and requires reliable, team‑oriented performance.

Annual flu vaccination is required; prior dishwashing or utility experience is preferred. We value compassionate, respectful colleagues who contribute to a welcoming community for older adults.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of dishwashing or utility experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, team‑oriented, and detail‑focused.
• Displays integrity, professionalism, and respect for residents and coworkers.
• Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions considered).

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all kitchen and food service areas.
• Operate and maintain the ware‑washing system, including setup and breakdown.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with table setup, clearing tables, and supporting dining service as needed.
• Follow food safety, infection control, and resident rights policies at all times.
• Represent the community in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Work cooperatively with culinary team members and other departments.
• Attend required in‑services, meetings, and trainings.
