Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and handle merchandise safely.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and processed products.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust/chemicals.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to follow schedules, time and attendance policies.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment per QA standards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures, including cash handling.
• Balance drawers and record sales and hourly readings daily.
• Record store sales and monitor cash room integrity.
• Assist with stocking and daily department tasks as needed.
