Cheeseburger Bobby’s in Georgia is seeking a qualified cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. You will operate the cash register and scanner, accept payments, issue receipts, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

The right candidate can greet customers warmly, handle requests, balance the drawer, and work well in a team. Previous cashier experience helps, and strong math and multitasking skills are essential for fast casual service and daily peak hours.

Qualifications

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Record orders in the POS system accurately.
• Verify orders with customers before sending to kitchen.
• Communicate special requests to kitchen staff clearly.
• Identify issues and report to the manager.
• Handle returns and special transactions in the POS system.
• Keep the register station stocked and organized.
• Maintain balanced drawers and handle cash carefully.
• Experience with credit card machines is preferred.
• Be a reliable team member with good math and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Report to work on time, well-groomed, and in uniform.
• Record customer orders into the POS System, accurately entered.
• Repeat the order back to the customer before sending to kitchen.
• Inform kitchen staff of customer specials or adjustments.
• Identify customer issues and report to the manager.
• Process returns and special transactions via the POS System.
• Keep the register station stocked with necessary items.
• Maintain a clean and orderly customer aisle.
• Assist with cleaning the customer patio area if applicable.
• Take phone orders when needed.
• Notify management of POS/customer issues.
• Maintain a consistently balanced drawer.
• Handle large cash transactions and separating checks.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
