Training is provided, and employee meal discounts are offered to staff. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, operating the POS, handling cash and card transactions, answering questions about menu items and pricing, and keeping front-of-house areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take customer orders accurately.
• Operate the POS/register and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and pricing.
• Package and prepare takeout orders.
• Answer phones and assist with phone orders.
• Help customers through the okazuya line.
• Restock containers, bags, utensils, condiments, beverages, and other supplies.
• Keep the front counter and customer areas clean and organized.
• Help maintain attractive food displays.
• Communicate with kitchen staff regarding orders and customer needs.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Help clean and maintain the front-of-house area.
• Assist coworkers during busy periods.
• Perform other front-of-house duties as needed.
