Job summary

El Pollo Loco is hiring a Cashier to greet guests, provide friendly service, and help keep the dining area running smoothly. You may assist at the drive-thru and collaborate with a team to deliver fast, courteous service every time.

No experience is required, but 1+ year in customer service is preferred; English fluency is required; a food handler card may be needed where applicable. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• No experience is required, however one or more years of experience in restaurant or customer service position is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to speak and read English is required (second language is a plus).
• Experience entering orders into a Point-Of-Sales (POS) system is preferred.
• Food handler card required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and provide friendly, courteous service.
• May run the drive-thru station and work with a team to deliver fast service.
• Enter orders into the POS accurately and handle transactions.
