Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts up to 35 lbs.
• Strong math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and give correct change.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints as needed.
• Stock shelves, face product, and dust as required; maintain clean checkout areas.
• Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier and follow front-end procedures.
