Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and perform repetitious tasks.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts up to 35 lbs. within specified distances.
• Strong attention to detail, cash handling, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and make change.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition; assist with stocking shelves and facing/dusting.
