Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a friendly cashier to provide quick, accurate checkout experiences and help customers get the best value for their money. You will answer questions, assist at the register, and support other store tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include handling payments, exchanges, and maintaining safety and cleanliness at the workstation. Relevant experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
