Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a customer-focused cashier to deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience at our store. You will assist customers with payments and exchanges, scan and bag items, and help maintain a clean, safe workstation.

The role supports store operations and aims to leave every customer with a positive finish to their shopping. Experience with basic arithmetic and computer use is required, and some lifting may be needed.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
