Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Eighth-grade level math competency to make change and count during vendor check-in.
• Sufficient visual acuity to check identification and process money orders.
• Ability to read and understand instructions for operating electronic cash registers, gas consoles, and other equipment.
• Good personal grooming habits.
• Physical requirement: stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Open a second register if needed to provide fast service when lines form at the register in operation.
• Complete all shift duties as assigned.
• Safeguard company assets; follow cash control and safe operation policies.
• Follow vendor check-in procedures.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Respond promptly to spills or other hazards.
• Other duties may be assigned by the Store Manager.
