Job summary

Little Me Daycare in New York is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to provide nurturing care and engaging learning activities in a classroom setting.

Ideal candidates show love for children, reliability, and excellent communication with families. NYS certification or study plan for Lead PreK is preferred; BA/AA with ECE credits is required for Infant/Toddler roles. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)
• Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict.
• Guide children through curriculum identifying shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.
• Organize nap and lunch/snack times and supervise to ensure safety.
• Track children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly.
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom in line with health standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum. (Identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.)
• Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
• Track children’s progress.
• Communicate with parents regularly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
