Job Qualifications

1. Have a love for children.
2. Be reliable and friendly. Being on time is a must.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. NYS Certification or study plan preferred for Lead Pre K teacher.
5. BA/AA with ECE credits needed for infant toddler teacher preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.).
2. Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict.
3. Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.).
4. Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
5. Track children’s progress.
6. Communicate with parents regularly.
7. Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
