Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• Valid CPR card
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
• Position may require standing or walking for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Take and document patient history and vital signs.
• Perform and document patient assessments, vital signs, and mental health screenings as needed.
• Respond to medical and mental health emergencies and initiate appropriate care.
• Assist with triage, minor medical/surgical procedures, examinations and treatments.
• Initiate and document prescribed protocols.
• Observe and evaluate nursing staff performance.
