Arroyo Family Dental/North Mesa Dental Group in Mesa, AZ seeks a reliable Dental Assistant to provide chairside support every Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Responsibilities include patient prep, x-rays, sterilization, and operatory turnover under Dr. Arroyo’s supervision.

The position is part-time with no healthcare benefits, offering a consistent six-hour Friday schedule and a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience is required.
• Active Arizona Radiologic Technology / Dental X-Ray Certification.
• Current CPR / BLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments and chairside procedures.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting and patient prep for general, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms with trays, materials and instruments; sterilize per OSHA/HIPAA.
• Take digital dental x-rays as requested and update patient charts in software.
• Collaborate with team to maintain smooth operatory turnover and patient flow.
