Job summary

Solterra Dentistry in Phoenix, AZ seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our family-owned practice. Mon & Wed 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM; Tue & Thu 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM. Compensation $20.00–$23.00 per hour (DOE) plus monthly bonus potential.

You will chairside assist, perform digital scans, take X-rays, manage sterilization, engage patients, and support the team with administration. Grounded in family values and modern dental care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Current Dental Assistant Registration/Certification.
• Active Arizona X-Ray / Radiography Certification.
• Active CPR / BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Chairside Assisting: Assist doctors during exams, restorations and specialty procedures.
• Clinical Digital Scanning: Perform digital 3D scans for crowns, bridges, partials and dentures.
• X-Rays & Imaging: Capture high-quality dental X-rays and intraoral photos.
• Operatory & Instrument Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize and disinfect instruments per OSHA standards.
• Patient Engagement: Greet patients, update histories, guide treatment plans with clear instructions.
• Administrative & Team Support: Record treatment notes, monitor inventory, assist front desk as needed.
