Relativity Space is seeking a hands-on Stage Manufacturing technician in Long Beach, CA. You will operate FSW equipment, prepare welds, perform post-weld blending, and assist with lift operations to keep Terran R manufacturing on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with friction stir welding.
• 1+ year of experience with crane and rigging operations.
• Proficient in common hand tools and inspection tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or team tools like Slack.

Responsibilities

• Operate FSW equipment, prep welds, and post-weld blending.
• Perform standard lift operations or assist in critical lifts.
• Carry out precision blending/deburring with power or hand tools.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and pi tape.
• Maintain Relativity Space safety and shop cleanliness standards.
