Qualifications

• Ohio Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Successful participation in similar activity at high school or college level required.
• Provide background checks and coaching certifications as outlined by district.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Freshman Cheer Program.
• Train and develop student-athletes to cheer and uplift crowd.
• Execute an effective training program.
• Motivate student-athletes to succeed in school and on the court.
• Promote academic excellence and sportsmanship.
• Plan and coordinate practice sessions.
• Lead in the development of moral values, pride, and self-confidence.
• Coach beginners and advanced athletes.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director and District Athletic Department.
• Ensure academic eligibility checks for prospective athletes.
• Maintain compliance with OHSAA, ODE, and coaching certifications.
