The role emphasizes coaching, mentoring student-athletes, and maintaining a safe, positive environment while assisting in academic progress monitoring and representing the school with integrity.

Qualifications

• Past playing experience preferred.
• Past coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing practices and game preparation for freshman team.
• Instruct student-athletes in game strategies and techniques.
• Motivate students and promote positive character and sportsmanship.
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for team members.
• Assist in monitoring academic progress of team members.
• Always represent Beech Grove High School and Beech Grove City Schools in a positive light.
