Job summary

ReNEW Schools Beech Grove High School seeks a Beech Grove High School Robotics Coach to lead and mentor student teams through the FIRST Tech Challenge season. You will guide teams of 8–12 students, manage schedules and registrations, and coordinate volunteers to support practice and competitions.

You will foster leadership, time management, and teamwork while ensuring a safe and inclusive team environment and ongoing communication with families and the robotics director.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide students in grades 9-12 in competing in the 2026-27 FIRST Tech Challenge season.
• Communicate progress, needs, and issues with parents, students, and robotics director.
• Organize parent volunteers to assist during practice sessions.
• Schedule practices to maximize student participation and learning.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and student-led team environment.
• Supervise team progress and actions while promoting leadership among students.
• Assist with team registration and roster management.
• Assist with event registration.
