Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk in Michigan to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience across our Fresh departments. Build positive connections with customers and teammates, share product knowledge, and maintain attractive displays.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards and use technology to complete tasks with accuracy. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
