Job summary

Meijer is a family-owned retailer in the United States seeking a Food Clerk to join our Indiana store team. You will help create a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience within our Fresh departments, building positive connections with customers and teammates.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise displays, share product knowledge, and use store technology to complete tasks safely and accurately. A friendly, customer-first mindset and attention to detail are essential in this

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
