Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Eatontown, NJ is seeking an entry-level Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. You will help maintain fresh displays, support sampling programs, and ensure a clean, safe environment while delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include labeling and pricing accuracy, daily cleaning tasks, and assisting with inventory and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Ability to sell proactively.
Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other duties as assigned.
Maintains accurate department signage and pricing.
Maintains back stock in good order.
Maintains a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment.
Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
