Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display; checks quality, keeps cases and shelves stocked, rotates products, fills ice tables.
• Maintains accurate department signage and pricing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized working/shopping environment.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full, clean, and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
• Sells and prepares seafood; skins, bones, and cooks or smokes fish; labels, dates cooked fish.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health/sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment; upkeep of equipment.
• Performs opening, middle, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
