Job summary

ShopRite of WHARTON is seeking a Seafood Clerk to manage the Seafood Department, prepare and pack fresh and frozen seafood, and deliver excellent customer service. The role requires standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs, with duties including temperature checks, sanitation, and accurate pricing.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Able to handle fresh, frozen seafood and related products safely.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills required.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Receive, date, store, and price-mark products per guidelines.
• Maintain seafood knowledge and product quality.
• Keep work area clean and sanitized per safety standards.
• Follow safety, QA, and Department of Sanitation policies.
• Lift, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
