Job summary

Responsibilities

• Keeps seafood area well stocked and appealing for customers, greets customers, makes suggestions and provides information on seafood preparation.
• Sets up displays and rotates product; ensures freshness, proper pricing and signage; handles non-saleable items per procedures.
• Weighs and wraps merchandise, applies price/weight stickers, maintains logs for freshness and quality, follows safety codes.
• Maintains sanitation; follows cleaning schedules; disposes of trash; ensures work areas meet health/OSHA requirements.
• Helps manage inventory and control losses; assists with receiving and storage where trained.
• May assist other departments; training provided.
