Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Phoenix is hiring a Meat Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in a fast-paced grocery setting. You will receive, store, and grind meats, help customers with special orders, and ensure products are prepared and displayed safely according to department guidelines.

This hands-on role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 90 lbs, and working flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Be dependable and reliable with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Capable of standing for up to 4 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift; able to lift 25–90 lbs.
• Must be able to move and handle products safely using equipment like pallet jacks and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload deliveries and manage stock rotation.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and product location.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and assist in department guidelines such as Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4.
