Job summary

SPICE WORLD, LLC in Orlando is seeking a Fresh Production Employee to support the Fresh department by sorting and packaging, while keeping a clean and safe work area.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED, ability to lift 10 pounds, and availability for five 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday with overtime and weekend work as scheduled. Second shift position.

Qualifications

• High school level education is required.
• Ability to follow GMP-like requirements and safety rules.
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort and package fresh products per production schedule.
• Prepare and move boxes for production lines.
• Stagger pallets and keep work area clean and organized.
• Report defects and malfunctions to line leader.
• Use ERP Parity Mobile to track work orders and inventories.

Production Employee – Fresh

For more than 76 years, Spice World has been passionate about bringing everyone a world full of flavor, year-round.

As a Production Employee in the Fresh Department, you will be responsible for sorting and packaging fresh products while keeping the work area clean and safe.

• Preparing, moving boxes for production.
• Stagging pallets with boxes for production line as per production schedule.
• Sweeping and maintaining work area clean.
• Report all defects, violations, line/equipment malfunction and issues to line leader.
• Sorting and packaging good garlic, shallots and discarding as per production schedule.
• Use ERP Parity Mobile to track work orders and inventories.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Availability to work five days, eight hours shifts from Monday to Friday and overtime hours as needed.
• This is a second shift position.
• Availability to work on weekends as per production schedule.
• Must be able to lift10-pound boxes regularly.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent required.
• Utilize knowledge and requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or Saturdays.
