Job summary

Eataly North America in Chicago is seeking a Fresh Produce Clerk to stock, rotate, and display fresh produce while delivering exceptional customer service. You will manage deliveries, ensure FIFO freshness, and assist customers with inquiries.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexible onsite hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, and a team-driven approach in a bustling grocery environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a grocery setting preferred.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to effectively multitask and organize workflow.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and face fresh produce according to standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries and special orders.
• Receive deliveries, verify invoices and notes discrepancies.
• Maintain attractive floor sets and signage.
• Rotate items FIFO to ensure freshness.
• Organize back stock and warehouse storage.
