Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Produce Clerk in Spring Hill, FL. You will stock, face and merchandise the Produce department, maintain pricing accuracy and freshness, and assist customers with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented store, handling lifting up to 50 lbs, standing most of the shift, and adhering to safety regulations and company standards. Growth opportunities and benefits are available for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends and holidays.
• Have and show mutual respect for others and maintain Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing; lift up to 50 lbs; operate a cart up to 20 lbs; up to 2 hours, 20 feet.
• Walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department and present products as directed by the department schematics; ensure tag and pricing accuracy.
• Maintain product knowledge, proper stocking, facing, filling, and organization of all Produce items.
• Rotate merchandise and ensure freshness and availability through inventory control.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Support a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
