Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets Inc is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk in Washington to greet customers, prepare, package, and display fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs with a focus on quality and freshness.

You will stock, rotate, answer questions, and work with the team to ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable shopping experience. Prior produce experience is a plus; weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old or older.
• Complete a pre-employment background check.
• Current food workers card (where applicable) once employed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers with a smile and help them locate produce items.
• Answer questions about produce and provide recommendations.
• Wash, peel, cut, and package various types of fresh produce; stock and rotate fresh produce.
• Regularly check the freshness of fruits and vegetables on display; ensure all produce is fresh.
• Remove produce items that do not meet our quality standards and/or show signs of spoilage.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist to ensure the produce display area is always well-stocked.
