Job summary

A prominent grocery retailer is seeking a Produce Procurement Specialist to effectively source high-quality produce while managing inventory and ensuring seamless delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $60,000.00 with benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to move produce boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in low temperatures under 38 ℉.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders for produce.
• Source produce at competitive prices.
• Check quality and quantity of incoming products.
• Manage produce inventories in refrigerated storage.
• Analyze purchases and sales data.
