As a Full Time Fresh Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in our stores by:

• Determining the amount and placing orders of fresh products from vendors weekly, focusing on sales, in-stock levels, and margin shrink metrics
• Maintaining freshness, presentation, and safety standards in the cooler, fresh meat, and produce areas
• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, suggesting products, and assisting with special requests and express orders
• Receiving, inspecting, and merchandising products accurately, ensuring proper rotation and quality
• Executing end cap and planogram setups, maintaining store backstock organization
• Assisting with merchandising tasks such as sequencing, inventory verification, adjustments, pricing, and signage
• Operating power equipment safely, including slicing machines, tow motors, and forklifts
• Adhering to Gordon Food Service's core values and practices
