Job summary

Food Lion in Charleston is seeking a Produce Department team member to deliver friendly, efficient service and support product displays. You will assist customers, unload trucks, and ensure accurate ordering, receiving and display of fresh produce to minimize shrink and maximize sales.

The role requires adherence to Food Lion policies, safety guidelines, and uniform standards, with training provided through CBT and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Produce Department and maximize sales.
• Unload trucks and ensure proper ordering, receiving and displaying of merchandise.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge when on duty.
• Report accidents and maintain policy compliance and standard practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and adherence to dress code and safety guidelines.
• Complete required CBT and training packets.
