Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Stacker Labor for the Wilkesboro Fresh Plant, 1st shift. You will stack and organize packaged products for palletizing, ensuring proper load stability and safe handling in a temperature-controlled, fresh-food environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, following food safety rules, and communicating effectively with line operators. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold, wet, or humid setting as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper stacking patterns, alignment, and stability of product loads.
• Monitor product flow to prevent backups, damage, or mis-stacking.
• Remove damaged or defective packages from the line and report issues.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas around stacking and palletizing stations.
• Assist with pallet changes, slip sheets, and load preparation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies.
• Use proper lifting techniques and safe material-handling practices.
• Communicate effectively with line operators and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
