Food Lion in Oxford, NC is hiring for a Perishable Department associate to deliver quality customer service, maintain freshness, and help maximize sales. You will rotate stock, receive deliveries, label and stock meat and dairy items, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

Formación

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain proper product levels in the Perishable Department including meat, lunchmeat, dairy, ice cream.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and stock as needed.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise meet policies and guidelines.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, presentable department and proper signage for promotions.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and report accidents per Food Lion procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
