Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Perishable Representative to maintain a well-stocked, clean department and deliver excellent customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

You will handle customer questions, assist selections, and support department sales through suggestive selling, proper labeling, rotation, and efficient stocking of produce, meat, seafood, and other perishables.

Qualifications

• Age 18+.
• Customer service and communication skills required.
• Computer systems knowledge: Telxon, ACR, label machine.
• Strong reading, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Planning and organizing abilities.
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent; Company Orientation and Safety Training completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist with product selections.
