Job Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times, supporting the company mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
• Maintain a positive attitude; foster an environment of friendliness and fun through teamwork and flexibility.
• Create a positive, friendly, and engaging work environment with a customer-first approach by greeting and speaking to customers, providing prompt and courteous service.
• Assist the produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products for processing.
• Rotate merchandise during stocking to ensure freshness and quality.
• Set up and maintain the cut vegetable and fruit sections, trim corn, and package salad tomatoes as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Follow all food safety policies and procedures.
• Order supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Assist and coordinate the training of new pack associates as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Maintain the quality and freshness of all fresh pack products.
• Ensure all items requiring a COOL label are maintained daily.
• Enforce and uphold the company’s food safety program.
• Trim and package fresh produce.
• Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Sanitize and clean the department at least twice daily.
• Attend scheduled shifts on-site to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact effectively with various individuals daily.
• Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts to comply with company policies.
