Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and courteous customer service to support the company mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
  • Maintain a positive attitude and foster a friendly, fun environment through teamwork and flexibility.
  • Greet customers and deliver prompt, courteous service to promote a customer-first atmosphere.
  • Assist the produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products.
  • Rotate merchandise during stocking to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Set up and maintain cut vegetable and fruit sections, including trimming and packaging as directed.
  • Follow all food safety policies and procedures diligently.
  • Order supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
  • Assist in training new associates in the fresh pack department.
  • Maintain the quality and freshness of all produce items.
  • Ensure daily compliance with COOL labeling requirements.
  • Enforce and uphold the company’s food safety program.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized; sanitize the department at least twice daily.
  • Attend scheduled shifts punctually, adhering to time and attendance policies.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact effectively with others daily.
  • Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts.
