Colonial Group is seeking a Meat Wrapper to learn and perform the safe, sanitary handling of fresh meat and related products in the store’s meat department. You’ll wrap, weigh, price, label, and display items to maximize sales, while following company policies and quality standards.

You will work as part of a team, demonstrate reliable customer service, basic math skills, and willingness to assist across store areas as needed. Prior perishable dept experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in grocery perishable department or meat wrapping preferred.
• Proficiency in basic math and ability to read and write in English.
• Effective oral and written communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and across store areas as needed.

Responsabilités

• Learns to package beef, pork and poultry per company policies.
• Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat.
• Labels packages according to standards.
• Maintains displays and ensures proper rotation and merchandising to maximize sales.
• Supports product ordering and receives deliveries.
• Maintains sanitation and follows safety and policy standards.
• May assist with various perishable and non-perishable duties as needed.
