Job summary

Ken’s BiLo Foods in Northern Cambria, PA is hiring a PT Meat Cutter to join the Meat Department. The role focuses on cutting meat, ensuring product quality, and delivering friendly, helpful service to shoppers in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with receiving and prep, display and rotate products, and help with inventory while maintaining high food-safety standards. Previous meat-cutting experience is preferred but not required; weekend/evening shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Previous meat cutting or meat department experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle meat products with care.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing meat shipments.
• Cut, trim, and package meat for sale following safety guidelines.
• Assist in display and presentation of meat products.
• Greet customers and provide product information and recommendations.
• Inspect products for quality and rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Meat Manager and team on operations.
